What is DES3S?

DES3S is our process that our team follows. From the first contact with a sales person to the final step of client system training, every member of our different teams—sales, pre-wire technicians, purchasing, accounting, engineering, software development and finish out technicians—knows exactly what their role for each project is. DES3S involves three parts: Scope Definition, System Engineering and Systematic Execution.

Scope Definition

During the Scope Definition phase, our sales team has a checklist to operate against to make sure they gather all of the necessary data to develop your project. This first portion of DES3S is the most crucial because the success of the rest of project hinges on the quality of data gathered in this phase.

System Engineering

During the System Engineering phase, our team of engineers takes the data gathered from Scope Definition to create a system that will meet your needs and exceed your expectations. After the system design is complete, our team of project managers, installation technicians and programmers begin their work. Our system engineering has been nationally recognized with the 2010 Crestron Integration Award for Best Engineered Home Solution.

Systematic Execution

The Systematic Execution phase is a result of the previous two phases. After the scope is clearly defined and the system is designed, we use DES3S which defines each step of the team’s work to deliver the same DES quality from project to project. Systematic Execution involves the use of checklists and testing to make sure that installation is complete and functional.
