Continuing Relationships: A Second Project in a New Home
When the time came to build their new home, this Fort Smith couple knew they wanted an automated home. Who better to hire for their new project than the integrator from their previous home? This 14,500 square foot home was built for entertainment, and DES provided the means along with control of their home's various electronic systems. The result was a system that won Crestron's 2010 Integration Award for Best Engineered Home Solution and Crestron's 2011 Integration Award for Best iPad Home Control-Gold.
Complete Control From a Wine Cellar
The family's wine cellar is a visual delight by itself. Complete with a tasting room, this is an area designed to entertain and to relax. Inside the room, every connected system in every room of the home is accessible and controllable with the DES TV control system or a 12" touch panel. A lighting control keypad provides control for lights within the room.
Heard But Not Seen
A large portion of our clients want our technology, but don't want to see it. This is one of our best examples. This great room uses invisible speakers that are completely concealed behind the finished wall. Unobtrusive background music can be played while the couple's guests can enjoy their conversations.
Larger Than Life Media Room
When the family wants entertainment for themselves, they turn to their media room. With an 85-inch plasma television and surround sound system, this room provides as much relaxation or excitement as they want. The video distribution network provides access to thier media management system, cable boxes and other video sources.
