Enterprise Systems Unified Communications

whole house audioVideo conferencing has been the subject of wishful thinking for decades. In the past, a video conference system was more of a convenience factor than a necessity. However, with advances in technologies and the globalization of businesses, video conferencing is becoming a viable need in most organizations.

Why is video conferencing important?
Think of the importance body language plays in communications. Often times, it is not what is said, but the tone and demeanor of the speaker that has the most effect. Additionally, face-to-face meetings will always feel more personal than written or phone conversations. Efficiency is a driving force of every enterprise—the first to market is often the winner. High definition cameras allow product samples to be shown and approved in minutes rather than waiting for physical samples to arrive by mail. Perhaps most important of all, video conferencing allows your team members to sleep in their own beds at night rather than being on the road for meetings .

How does video conferencing work?
Depending on the control systems in place, you can initiate a video conference call with either a touchpanel or a hand-held remote. The process is much like making a phone call in that each endpoint has a unique number that, when dialed, puts you face to face with the other participants. We tailor each of our solutions to fit the needs of your organization. If you need a camera that will pan around a room or the ability to share a computer screen, we design your video conference system to provide exactly what you need.

Teleconferencing

The days of stringing a speakerphone across a table for a conference call are over—not to mention how unprofessional it looks. Today’s teleconferencing systems include in-ceiling speakers and sophisticated microphones to provide superior sound quality and a more professional look to your conference room.

Professional teleconference systems provide a level of quality that ensures your communications will be clearly understood from both endpoints. You also get features such as echo cancellation to eliminate acoustical echo, noise cancellation to eliminate ambient noises such as HVAC, as well as microphone priority that intelligently recognizes the first voice speaking at a time. Professional teleconference systems provide a set it and forget it installation that allows you to spend your time conducting business.

Controlling a teleconferencing system is much like using a standard telephone. Each teleconference system has a unique number that, when dialed, will begin the conference. Typically, we offer two options for control:  touchpanels or a tabletop dial pad. A touchpanel is especially useful when the room has multiple integrated systems (video conference, lighting control, etc). Each will have a keypad to dial a room, speaker volume control, mic volume control and other audio or presentation functions.
