Wiring is like the foundation of a home, if it isn’t solid the rest of the system will never function as it should. Our prewire technicians follow the wiring map that our engineers create. The planning we do on the front end ensures that we will not miss necessary wires on the back end.
Why is wire management important?
If we do not properly care for wires now, unwanted outages and service calls will happen in the future. Additionally, if wires are not well organized at the rack, minor service calls can turn in to costly, time-consuming repairs. Often times when asked to take over or service projects we did not do, we unlabeled wires. Mislabeled wires are just as bad as unlabeled wires. To that end, we label and test each wire before calling the cabling phase complete.
